Description

The KORBEN hanging lamp sets modern accents in every room with its clear design. The rectangular lamp is characterized by its four cylindrical lampshades, which are in elegant matt white and are mounted on rods. The lampshades are open at the front and are made of high-quality aluminum, which is impressive in both matt white and chrome-plated versions. With its compact dimensions of 600 mm in length and 60 mm in width, the KORBEN fits perfectly over dining tables or kitchen islands. The hanging lamp is designed for 4 GU10 spotlights, which ensure excellent light output. The combination of the white, matt metal body and the elegant aluminum lampshades gives the lamp a modern and at the same time timeless design. Electrical and electronic equipment - Information for private households

The Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG) contains a large number of requirements for the handling of electrical and electronic equipment. The most important ones are summarised here.

1. separate collection of waste equipment

Electrical and electronic equipment that has become waste is referred to as WEEE. Owners of WEEE must dispose of it separately from unsorted municipal waste. In particular, WEEE does not belong in household waste, but in special collection and return systems.

2. batteries and accumulators

As a rule, owners of WEEE shall separate spent batteries and accumulators that are not enclosed in the WEEE from the latter before handing them over at a collection point. This does not apply if the WEEE is handed over to public waste management authorities and separated from other WEEE there for the purpose of preparation for re-use.

3. possibilities for the return of old appliances

Owners of WEEE from private households can hand it in at the collection points of the public waste management authorities or at the take-back points set up by manufacturers or distributors as defined by the ElektroG. An online directory of collection and take-back points can be found here:

4. data protection notice

Old devices often contain sensitive personal data. This applies in particular to information and telecommunications technology devices such as computers and smartphones. In your own interest, please note that each end user is responsible for deleting the data on the end-of-life devices to be disposed of.

5. meaning of the symbol "crossed-out dustbin"

The symbol of a crossed-out dustbin regularly displayed on electrical and electronic equipment

indicates that the respective appliance is to be collected separately from unsorted municipal waste at the end of its service life.

6. Producer´s WEEE registration number

As a producer in terms of the German ElektroG we are registered with the German registration authority Stiftung Elektro-Altgeräte-Register (Nordostpark 72, 90411 Nürnberg), having been granted the following WEEE registration number:
WEEE-Reg.-Nr. DE 22892922
